There is a purity in darkness. While many love the concept of darkness, not many actually realize its subtle beauty. Darkness makes you feel deep, it makes you feel uncomfortable, it forces you to face your fears. In a world, blinded by light, by information, darkness provides solace by keeping things unknown. The more you embrace the darkness, the more you grow aware of yourself, your weaknesses, your fears. Perhaps thats why its associated with evil. Darkness teaches you the value of silence, of solitude. In darkness, the only light you can depend on is yours. And so, only in darkness do you truly find yourself. Meditate in a dark room, focus on your inner light. Embrace it. Let the silence and nothingness humble you. Let it teach you, that true beauty isnt in what is visible, but in something beyond it.
