Iblis is mentioned 11 times in the Quran by name, nine times related to his rebellion against God’s command to prostrate himself before Adam. More often occurs the term Shaitan, that is, sometimes related to Iblis. Then God created Adam, He ordered all the angels to bow before the new creation.
