As I ate lunch at the Shelter..
I found that though I would never accept this as real, I did not breathe in this reality 14 years ago, but after living and forced compelled crippled and even aged (all illusions), I found that for the first time I could breathe in this place.
A Man came and sat down in front of me, a man of African American ancestry…
He asked me if my name was Campbell..
No I replied.
He told me that he was a 59 year old man who was once an alcoholic…
And that I looked like the Father of a 17 year old youth he had known when he was 17…
I immediately thought about Eric the preacher former Alcoholic I had met the first day I entered Bellevue and who had given the guided tour telling about the Atlantic Bedford Shelter and how hellish it had been.
Eric and David the one chased by the F B.I..
1:45 pm.
And how this his best friend had taught him how to Dive..
To swim and to dive..deep dive…
I immediately moved my mind to the share of M.P.S (PhD) Quantum …P.E N..
And what I had written about diving underwater to bring Air Breath Consciousness to the family undercover..
And I, then looked up to the man talking to me…
Saying what I just posted and talking about the House of Micah and how he made his mistakes and was now a preacher who came to make people rise and feel joy
That it was his calling and that it was because God said he would never forsake him.
All I felt was disgust and contempt…not for the man, he had been programmed, tortured and made so suffer in a system which made him feel a failure
the men in here Fell short he had stated.
Fell short of what?
Being born poor, black Hispanic, to parents who were alcoholics, to Drugs thrown into thier communities..
To war and slavery to Vietnam vets whose country had forgotten then but loads them with Programs and benefits and solitude
Half the men in the Shelter are there because they can not afford to pay rent,
3-4 work, while only 1/1O are drug addicts or Alcoholic’s.
What did they really fall short of..

Fall short of The Man?
Being suckered and then made to feel shame for eating free food.
To see women walk into the rooms without any regard for men old enough to be thier fathers and grandfathers changing and sleeping…
The other half of the men thier are Old men or men in thier forties already old or crippled by disease accidents at work or having contracted diseases from working in the system as poor men.
Rich man poor man does not matter the system of the Damned goes against what is Natural for the human beings Espirut to flourish…
They come here because they are lonely!!
Where do they really fall short after paying taxes after paying taxes for the last 2O 25 years..
And what are 18-25 kids doing in the Shelter.
Kids young men..
This Shelter is more like a Half way house..
And yet it is not filled with excons.
Though many have served time in prison.
