It was 1975 and I had one to the Junior Olympic qualifying meet.

It was around this time but it was 1976, but out of the blue my father announced we would be moving to Nigeria.
We had hardly any idea of Nigeria my parents almost shielded us from it apart from my mother who missed her family so much , her mother and father having not seen them in 15 almost 16 years .
I was excited as was Nnamdi, and I thought we would leave in time for me to go to Minto Armories, as that was the name it was called.
But for some reason my Bio Father decided I would not go that year. And to further add insult to injury, he told us that we were forbidden to tell anyone, and I mean anyone that we were leaving the country and we would be leaving in 1977, yet for the life of me I knew way back then that 1976 was a pivotal year, I have known it all my life, why I could not say before.
I told someone in school and in class that we were moving, I did it with conscious intent.
Defying my father at his to me,absurd suggestion.
And nor would my pleas move him.
Of course he found out and gave me a beating so brutal that is when I was in my room his former den and my mother asked me to be her Knight in Shinning Armour and I travelled to the Spirit Reakmm Astral Plane where the Ancestor s, The True Natural Ancestors had asked for help.
But I digress.
