Yesterday I watched I watched a movie where once scene in particular struck me…
A young boy had recently lost his mother to a terrible car accident…
He had been very close to his mother..
“When she looked, at me.. there was a way she looked at me which made me aware that she was really seeing at me, that gaze.. it made me feel solid, here, that I mattered..That I was important, present… that I exist”
The rest of the film was his journey to recapture that feeling his mother gave him without having the reminder of that gaze.
He went through great Darkness- witnessing the darkest side of Human nature, while confronting his own Darkness- which is the response to his fear which of course clouds clarity of action and good judgment.
But each time, he allowed his naturalness, and love C, to conquer all negativity. While listening to those who words affirmed his own truth.
Until he was able to affirm that solid Gaze of his mother, without her being present, he had to prove to himself that he did not need to depend on anyone, not even his Mother, to prove to him that he Exists…
Because he made a difference, he took action… he made an impact in thee world around him…
Indenting his Identity in his world, the World by his expression through action that I exist!
